If we, girlies, have to hear 'it was just a joke,' one more time…deep breaths…in and out.

Listen, we know there's a difference between hyper-sensitivity and putting up with nonsense. Yes, many times, we can laugh alongside our boyfriends, whether it's with them or at ourselves. However, there comes a time (and place) when those 'harmless' jokes start to sting a bit more than they used to. 

This young couple celebrated their 6-month anniversary recently, so the thoughtful girlfriend decided to try something different and made her man a sentimental scrapbook filled with snippets of her relationship. She put in a lot of time and effort into creating a gift that meant more than money can buy, so you wouldn't be surprised that when she hears her boyfriend 'trashing' the gift to a bunch of his boys, calling it 'middle school core', she is left feeling embarrassed, and taken for an absolute loser. 

So what's the answer to his immature behaviour? Throw the gift away… and when he asks where it is…tell him it's where the relationship's heading if he carries on making fun of you…in the trash!
